High school and college stress tends to multiply by a hundred fold during end of school years. You feel school stress is meant to reduce when summer draws close but the reverse seems to always be the case, it instead multiply massively.
Most students breakdown at this point, while others get mentally drained and tired of the whole process. I know the whole activities would seem boring and tiring at this point but what if i tell you that this hell breaking period is the best time you create an exercise routine?. It sounds absurd right?. But trust me that’s the best time to bring exercise into the mix.
It’s been confirmed timeless times that a 30mins exercise has the capability of improving your mental health and concentration level massively. It also boosts your immune system and let you have a better quality sleep, and these are the major qualities you need to relax your stressed body.
We’ve compiled 4 ways you can add some exercise routines to your busy school schedules to help you stay active
Enroll In A Fitness Class
Exercise is a good way to stay active when the stress is much. I know at this point all you will have in mind are ways to rest, chill and avoid stress, but trust me when i say exercise would offer all that and even more.
What i mean here is that you get yourself enrolled into a paid fitness class. The reason i didn’t just say you should exercise on your own or with friends is that you will definitely not take it serious because it’s something your mind doesn’t even want. But once you commit your finance to it, and with a tutor who is eager to make you see the good in exercising, i believe you would pull it off.
Walk More
This may sound more like stress to you than a means of staying active but trust me, it works wonders. You need to apply a physical activity into your daily schedule and this proves to be one of the easiest way to achieve that.
Always cease the barest opportunity to take a walk, if you visit a tall building that has an elevator and need to visit the top floor,, use the stairs instead, take a walk to any event which venue isn’t too far from your location. Take a walk immediately after a long class because research has it proven that:
Walking is beneficial to the body especially when it comes after a long period of sitting.
Taking walks at intervals can help clear your mind an make you more active when having a hectic day.
Exercise Should Be Part Of Your Study Break
The truth is that during this hectic periods in school, you would barely have free time for a proper exercise. So you must have to make use of every available time, and your study break is a very good example of those free times.
During those short study breaks you use in scrolling through your social media feeds, why not use it as an opportunity to have some quick stretches or put up some music on your phone and dance to it, since music is also an exercise activity. Take walks, try to do things that stretches your body.
You can also download some workout apps online to help guide you on beneficial exercises to embark on to help you utilize your short study breaks. Don’t just lazy around during this periods, if you need to be active, think exercise.
Your Social Life Should Include Exercise Activities
No matter how hectic school can be, most students still find time to hangout with friends, going on movie dates, grabbing an ice cream and other fun activities. Why not consider fixing some body move hangouts ?. There are so many activities that falls into this category, it can be a dance class, engaging in sports events like (football and basketball), taking a walk with friends, rock climbing, hiking and so on.
Engaging in any or all of these would definitely boost your system and make you active even when others seems so stressed and messed up. It won’t only boost your physical strength but it will also boost your mental strength and keeps you recharged regularly.
Exercise Is Life, Take It Serious
Don’t dwell on the impossibilities, but let the positives that comes with it drive you, it’s worth it, prioritize it at all cost and you won’t regret it for a second.
